His father, Robert, is Swiss and his mother, Lynette, is South African, having met on the business trip, since both worked in a pharmaceutical company.Roger has a sister two years older, Diana Federer is married to former professional tennis player Miroslava Vavrinec, known as Mirka, which already has become the N. 76 ranking WTA( Woman Tennis Association). They met during the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Mirka ended his career due to a bruised Achilles' tendon, causing it to follow the career of Federer, taking responsibility for their contact with the press.
